THE HAPPINESS OF COLORS, Dorazio Verna Casentini, Three generations compared Tue 01 April 2025 - Fri 30 May 2025
About twenty works will be exhibited, mostly oils and acrylics on canvas, from the 1970s to 2014.
A comparison between three important painters, from different generations, who have made color their unmistakable stylistic feature.
A dialogue between three masters of chromatism, in a use of all the colors of the rainbow, always employed with great freedom, freshness and happiness.
A focus on a central aspect of the painting of the second half of the 20th century, by authors who have elevated color to vision, play, song, the very structure of the painting. Painters never tonal, like others starting from the vast informal season, similar artists but different in the use of a chromatism always bright, free, casual, where the gesture of decoration is transfigured into an extremely elegant and refined abstract painting.
Very luminous artists, who have testified to the vital light of the sun, in its happy and sonorous prismatic variations.
